I guess basic info should be required for an intro, huh? haha

Sorry - forgot...

Name is Randy, live in Bucktown area of Chicago, work downtown as a Systems Administrator (so, yes, I'm a geek). 37 years old.

Already have a large tribal tattoo that is made up of 5 pieces. Starts by my knee, on the front of my right thigh and wraps around/up my hip, butt and ends in the middle of my back. Also have roman numerals tattoo'd just above my elbow on my right arm. XI XXVIII (for my nephew's birthday, Nov 2Cool.

Been doing a LOT of research for a Polynesian half-sleeve to cover my left shoulder and upper left arm. Hoping to find artists, ideas, examples, etc...

Randy

Thank you, Randy, for adding this info about you.

As you say you have done a LOT of research for a Polynesian half-sleeve, it would help if you would post a few pics of tattoos you like so that we know what you have in mind.

And obviously we would love to see your tribal tats in your personal gallery (in your profile) Wink

Pictures have been uploaded to my personal gallery.

I only have one pic of a tatt I like (taken from this site). I will try to collect others from the other sites I have been visiting and post them as well.

Hi Randy,

the pic you posted matches my size and area of what I am planning right now. I had my first drawing appointment with Rob Deut (Netherlands) and in April it will be done. You may check it in my thread. If you like I can send you several poly tats I am collecting for a few month now.

Hello randy ! Welcome !

If you have been doing a lot of research, you could not help find this forum!

And you have "travelled" through Phil's website like a bee in a field in spring....

Thanks! And yes, you ARE very right. I am addicted to this site!!

I am flying out to Las Vegas to visit Mike at Sacred Center Tattoos on March 25 for a custom designed half sleeve. Mostly because of the things I have read/seen on here!

Randy

I will keep you all updated as to the progress of my upcoming tatt!
